Behavior Consultations:

Does your dog become reactive when seeing other dogs on leash? Does your dog have separation anxiety or is he or she fearful of loud noises? Does your dog bark excessively? Our consultation program can help you address the causes of your dog's behavior and offer you a structured training plan to work through it.

We offer both 3 session and 6 session consultation plans. Through these sessions we build a comprehensive behavior modification strategy and guide you and your family through it. The 3-session plan is great for dogs dealing with housebreaking issues, resource guarding or multi-dog "sibling-rivalry" issues, etc. The 6-session plans are great for working through leash-reactive behaviors, separation anxiety, and other more complicated behavior concerns.

Aggression: For dogs with documented aggression and bite histories we require muzzle training and that muzzles be worn during our training appointments. If you are seeking out help for your dog for severe human-aggression issues we strongly encourage you to seek out the help of a local veterinary behaviorist before working with a trainer.

This program includes:

• A complete outline of the behavior modification plan, which includes a management plan and training exercises designed to improve the problem behavior.

• Demonstrations and one-on-one coaching by a certified pet dog trainer.

• Follow-up assistance between consults by phone or e-mail.

• We also supply you with a Tuff Pup Training clicker for use during clicker training games.
